How we work

Every project follows the same four stages, whatever its scale or starting point. We document decisions, make responsibilities explicit, and measure progress against objectives agreed at the outset.

1. Diagnose

We explore what is driving your interest in nature — an environmental obligation, an operational risk, a corporate commitment, or an opportunity to engage customers and employees.

Working with your teams, we clarify priorities, existing evidence and the decisions you need to make, building a shared understanding of the challenge, the stakeholders involved and what success looks like.

2. Design

We develop options that connect your objectives with suitable nature projects, considering locations, ecological outcomes, costs and timelines.

Together, we assess the value each option could create and the commitments it requires. We help your internal stakeholders evaluate the proposal and build consensus around a preferred approach, giving decision-makers a clear basis for their decision.

3. Define

We turn the preferred solution into an agreed programme, with clear responsibilities, delivery milestones and reporting arrangements.

We then choose the delivery model that suits your project, sourcing specialist partners, working alongside your own teams and contractors, or delivering the programme in full. Where customer, employee or community engagement is involved, we help plan those activities around it.

4. Demonstrate

We review progress with your team against the ecological and business objectives set at the start.

You can use the evidence for compliance requirements, corporate reporting, stakeholder communications and internal decisions. Reviews also show what is working, where engagement could be refined and where the partnership could create further value.
