Emma Toovey | Chief Land & Nature Officer | Environment Bank 

Emma has overseen Environment Bank’s large national team of ecology and land specialists since 2021. With a dedication to high-quality nature restoration, she maintains technical excellence across our projects, ensuring that ecological principles underpin all our key business decisions.  

Emma has over twenty years of ecological consultancy experience across diverse industries working with a range of stakeholders, including landowners, developers, and planning authorities.  

After successfully developing our Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) offering, Emma has been instrumental in establishing our voluntary biodiversity market product, Nature Shares.

Rob Wreglesworth | Associate Ecologist & Innovation Lead | Environment Bank 

Part of Environment Bank since 2018, Rob has played a pivotal role in launching the first wave of Habitat Banks for the Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) market. He has specialist expertise in nature markets, nature strategy development, and biodiversity monitoring. 

Rob currently leads on Environment Bank’s innovative Nature Shares product. Applying his technical knowledge and market insights, Rob played a central role in developing this high-integrity solution for the emerging voluntary biodiversity market. 

Rob’s approach combines practical implementation experience with a deep understanding of how businesses can effectively engage with nature-based investments to meet their environmental objectives.

Guy Thallon | Head of Natural Environment | Castle Howard 

Guy Thallon is Head of Natural Environment at Castle Howard Estate, holding responsibility for the estate’s land management strategy across the 9000-acre estate. Guy joined Castle Howard in August 2022, has a background in soil science and land management, and has worked in roles that bridge environment, food and farming across a 15-year career. Guy is leading a programme of landscape succession across the estate, including the establishment of the Bog Hall habitat bank, transitioning to regenerative farming, restoring the historic parklands and extensive woodland creation.
