For all Nature Shares projects, our biodiversity experts gather extensive data using a broad range of methodologies. Nature Shareholders can track this data using our interactive platform and see the transformative impact of their Nature Shares in as a project develops.

We use a variety of tools, including:

• Drones – to measure the structure and growth of broad habitats
• Bioacoustics – to track species of breeding and wintering wildlife
• Infrared cameras – to record wildlife populations and communities
• eDNA soil analysis – to monitor fungi, invertebrates, and pollinators
• Identification software – to verify plant species and increase accuracy

Increasing biodiversity causes a powerful ripple-effect on our ecosystems, landscapes, and communities – playing a key role in tackling climate change and rebuilding our natural spaces.
